Data center solutions provider Minkels
has extended the availability of its MatrixCube to the Netherlands. Minkels, which has headquarters in Veghel, Netherlands, is part of the Legrand group brand. The company specializes in a number of areas including data center cooling, housing, power distribution and monitoring solutions. It has branches in the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland and Belgium. Minkels’ launch of the MatrixCube in the Netherlands follows its launch of the solution in Belgium last year.
The MatrixCube targets customers who do not want to outsource their IT capability and either want to maintain all of it themselves, or maintain a component of capability they need. It is a “pre-configured, turn-key IT infrastructure solution specifically designed for small and medium sized companies”. The modular solution offers - N or N+1 or 2N redundancy and is “easy to install”. A “comprehensive data center solution”, it offers with racks, cooling, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), Power Distribution Units (PDUs), cable management and monitoring systems. After its launch in the Netherlands Minkels intends to launch the solution in a number of European countries including Switzerland, France, and the United Kingdom. Beyond that the company is eying launch in “global export regions”.
“The new fully integrated solution meets the needs of small and medium sized companies that want to keep their IT infrastructure within the four walls of their organization,” explained Minkels’ Marketing Manager, Vincent Liebe. “The MatrixCube is also well-suited for companies that want to keep parts of their hybrid IT infrastructure in-house, or some of it in the cloud. We will first introduce the MatrixCube to the Dutch market, followed by other countries where Minkels is active, including Switzerland and the United Kingdom. After that, we will introduce the MatrixCube globally depending on customer demand.”
The launch of MatrixCube coincides with the company attending the Infosecurity event in Belgium on June 15 and 16 2016. Do you know of any other companies launching new data center solutions? Let us know the details. Add your comments below.
