IceWEB has added three new appliances to its IceBOX-based products and services - the S1200, S2200, and the S2250. The company, who offers Unified Data Storage appliances for cloud and virtual environments, including its IceBOX BYOD Private Digital Cloud Solution, is recognized for manufacturing appliances that offer "enterprise storage management capabilities" that are cheaper than its competitors, require less space, and reduce power and cooling requirements.
IceWEB's new appliances address the growing "Bring Your Own Device" or BYOD market. The IceWEB S2250 is a private-cloud appliance that offers IceCACHE™ SSD-based read and write cache mechanisms alongside 16 terabytes of storage. The solution enables customers to scale capacity to meet increased BYOD-based file sharing and collaboration needs. The IceWEB S2250 and S2200 offer backup and disaster recovery through the cloud replication capabilities, while the IceWEB S1200, offering IceBOX software and 1TB of data storage, is ideal for users requiring file sharing and collaboration that can be managed across mobile devices, but doesn't require the capacity of the company's other solutions.

Our IceBOX solution addresses those concerns by enabling our customers to setup and configure a Private Digital Cloud while maintaining control over their corporate data assets. In addition, our IceBOX appliance solutions can be easily setup for off-site replication, further protecting those corporate data assets.”
