SolidFire, has been awarded the Stratus Award for ‘Cloud Executive of the Year’. Mr. Wright is also the founder of SolidFire, a Boulder, Colorado-based company which is recognized as the “market leader in all-flash storage systems built for the next generation data center”. Alongside Mr. Wright’s achievement, SolidFire was also mentioned as a finalist in the awards’ ‘Cloud Disruptor’ and ‘Cloud Integrator’ categories.

Managed by the Business Intelligence Group, the Stratus Awards recognize companies and individuals that have shown innovation in the cloud, provided “offerings that are truly differentiated in the market”, and accelerated the development and adoption of the cloud in business. Mr. Wright has “played an integral role in helping organizations evolve their IT infrastructure to realize benefits that were previously not possible”. Through his leadership SolidFire has developed a storage platform for enterprises and service providers that can “reliably handle dense, mixed workloads while ensuring that every application gets the performance it needs”.
