David Pearson Joins Managed Services Provider Global Cloud Xchange as Managing Director of Australia and New Zealand
David Pearson has joined managed services provider Global Cloud Xchange (formerly Reliance Globalcom) as Managing Director of Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). The company, which has a presence in the United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, France, Poland, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, The Netherlands and Egypt, bills itself as the provider of "the world's first true cloud ecosystem". Mr. Pearson joins the company after almost 3 decades of experience working with telecom companies.

Global Cloud Xchange is involved in a range of markets including Asia, North America, Europe and the Middle East. The company's managed services are delivered across its Cloud Delivery Networks in around 160 countries. "David brings a wealth of experience to our team and we are delighted to have him on board as we continue our strategic expansion and growth across Australia and New Zealand," explained Global Cloud Xchange's President, Asia Pacific Fabrizio Civitarese.

Prior to joining Global Cloud Xchange Mr. Pearson was Director of Sales for Australia at Pacnet, a company he had filled a number of executive roles since joining in 2002. At Pacnet he was responsible for the company's ANZ Carrier and Government and Enterprise markets. Before joining Pacnet he was engaged by Level 3 in Tokyo, Japan where he worked in the role of Senior Sales Manager responsible for growing the organization's local activity. He also worked with Verizon, Eunetcom ISD and BHP Engineering. He studied at Coventry Polytechnic in the United Kingdom where he received a BSc (Honors) degree in Computer and Control Systems.
