January 26, 2005 (HOSTSEARCH.COM) DedicatedCentral launched a high-end premium service campaign at the dedicated server market claiming competitive pricing, high-touch customer support, and "zero-tolerance" Internet security.
"We aim to be the premier dedicated server provider to mid-sized and small enterprises," said Ho Lee, general manager of DedicatedCentral. "Our combination of aggressive hardware and bandwidth pricing, along with our focus on security-related software puts DedicatedCentral a step ahead of the competition."
DedicatedCentral operates from company-owned data centers in Chicago, Tampa, Austin and Vancouver, BC. While service packages start at $149 a month, DedicatedCentral offers customers spam filtering, and firewall protection, around-the-clock server and network monitoring/alerting, servers that are always up, and a remote reboot managed backup service along with Plesk and Urchin web applications, 2,000 GB bandwidth, and 5 IP addresses. Two standard service packages -- DC-Standard and DC-Ultra --offer various feature and service combinations appropriate for the small enterprise. Supported computing environments include Fedora Linux, RedHat ES and Windows 2003.
"DedicatedCentral promises our customers to provide the maximum server and data protection available," said Lee, "as well as the most reliable and technologically sound support in the industry, and a full range of managed services to help our customers' businesses grow."
