Dedicated Servers, part of Host Europe PLC, is delighted to announce the launch of a number of new additions to its product range, focusing on businesses that require powerful and flexible web hosting solutions.
The launch of these new features ties in with a new-look web site that reflects Dedicated Servers’ ethos of continual product development and aims to provide clear and easily accessible information in order to help businesses choose appropriate hosting solutions to meet their requirements.
The new Enterprise Hosting solutions provide additional services for clients with particularly demanding business requirements, including a dedicated Account Manager as a single point of contact, a superior Service Level Agreement (SLA) that includes the guarantees of our usual SLA as well as 99.999% connectivity and a 24/7 two hour hardware resolution guarantee. It also includes more powerful reporting and monitoring tools through BMC Software, the leading provider of management solutions, that improve the availability, performance and recovery of web sites.
The Enterprise Hosting solutions include new hardware packages with either Windows or Linux operating systems, such as the Enterprise Xeon (including Dual Intel® Xeon® 2 Ghz with 256 KB cache, 4x72 GB SCSI hard disks with RAID 5, 2 GB SDRAM and 75 GB data transfer per month). For more sophisticated businesses, the new Corporate Advanced solution includes either 3 or 4 web servers, 1 database server, 1 mail server, load balancing, firewall, daily data backup and advanced systems monitoring as standard.
Dedicated Servers is also pleased to introduce its new Standby Server concept, a failover solution using a second server to mirror a copy of clients’ web sites and absorb traffic if for any reason the primary server should fail, thereby ensuring the web site has no downtime. The Standby Server will also store any mail sent to clients’ accounts, delivering it as normal once the primary server has been recovered.
