November 17, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – UK dedicated web hosting provider Memset has been short-listed in the annual PC Pro Service and Reliability Awards in the Best Web Host category. The awards will be presented at the Science Museum in London on the December 4, 2007.
PC Pro Service and Reliability Awards are compiled from the UK’s largest independent survey of IT customer satisfaction. Memset won the title of Best Web Host in the 2006 awards. This year the company has also been recognized for its “innovative environmental initiatives” by being short-listed for PC Pro’s new award category of ‘Environmental Innovator’.
Memset were also recognized in the annual Computing Awards for Excellence 2007, being shortlisted in the ‘Best Small Business IT Strategy’ category as a result of its use of Open Source Technology and their launch of their Xen-based Miniserver product – a virtual dedicated server solution. The company recently won the ‘Impact of Technology on your Business’ category at the British Chambers of Commerce South East Awards, and subsequent entry as a finalist for the national award in that category.
