Digital Agency Ixis Signs Contract with Energy Company Uniper
Digital agency Ixis has signed a contract with energy company Uniper. Ixis, which has offices in Warrington and Manchester in the United Kingdom, was established in 2004. The company specializes “exclusively in the Open Source framework Drupal” and has an impressive list of customers, including the British Council and Haringey Council in the UK. Ixis will provide Uniper with “website development, hosting and support services”.

Operating in over 40 countries, Uniper, which has headquarters in Düsseldorf, Germany, was established in 2016. The company provides energy and related services in Europe and Russia. It is also involved in global energy trading. Ixis’ contract with Uniper will last three years and could possibly be extended for a further two years upon completion. It will see the company offer fully managed hosting services, infrastructure and application support and migration configuration support.

“Ixis has a considerable track record of working with major enterprise clients and, owing to their specific expertise with Drupal, are the perfect fit when it comes to providing hosting and support for the new Uniper sites,” explained Uniper’s VP Brand and Channel Management, Sven Rudloff. Ixis’ Director Mike Carter further suggested, “It’s great to be working with another client in the energy sector as they look to develop their web presence. Drupal 8 is a great platform to deliver Uniper’s objectives and we very much look forward to working closely with the team to deliver the functionality they need, and support their digital strategy”.
