Digital intelligence company New Relic, Inc. (
New Relic) has announced updates to its New Relic Digital Intelligence Platform. New Relic, which has headquarters in San Francisco, California, United States, was established in 2008. The company specializes in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)-based analytics solutions that make sense of “billions of metrics about millions of applications in real time”. Its platform provides “actionable insights to drive digital business results” and it currently caters to around 14,000 fee paying business accounts. The updates enhance the platform’s ability monitor and manage enterprise activity.
New Relic’s platform allows developers to enhance “performance, availability, and scale” by allowing teams to more easily ask “iterative questions about the application performance”. The enhancements include additional ‘Dynamic Dashboards’ and extended alerting capability. The platform now offers “company-wide dashboards for enterprise deployments” and greater visibility from its ‘Application Performance Monitoring’ (APM) solution.
“As enterprises adopt the public cloud as a key component of their digital strategy, New Relic allows them to measure the health of their applications across their entire stack to give them the confidence to migrate faster and accelerate initiatives,” explained New Relic’s Chief Product Officer, Jim Gochee. “New Relic will enable developers and operations to visualize an even wider variety of data, from a unified source, and provide more granular, flexible alerting for faster incident response and analysis. This shared understanding ultimately can enable teams to build higher quality digital experiences that keep their customers happy.”
