February 8, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH) – The launch of A2LD (Advertise, Auction, List Domains) (http://www.a2ld.com) was recently announced, bringing to the market a new web site where domain names can be bought and sold alongside existing web sites.
A2LD offers free registration and is geared to ‘seasoned domain name traders’ as well as those new to the industry. Members can list domain names and web sites for sale and also place bids on other items available through the site. A 3% ‘closing auction fee’ is charged once an item is sold. One unique facility A2LD offers is a Private Message Board (PMB) where users can communicate with potential buyers and conduct negotiations. "Safe transfer" is facilitated through an optional ‘escrow service’.
