Domain Registrar and Web Host Crazy Domains Announces New Backup Services
Domain registrar and web host Crazy Domains has announced the launch of new backup services. Crazy Domains, which has headquarters in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, offers a range of hosting and related services. These include domain name registration (with a 34% market share of all new .au registrations), web and DNS hosting, email hosting and security services like SSL certificates. The company also offers Linux and Windows servers alongside custom server options. Its new backup services are geared towards the needs of small and medium-sized businesses.

Crazy Domains will integrate the Dropmysite platform provided by Dropsuite. Dropsuite, which was established in 2012, has headquarters in Singapore. The company’s services provide “professional grade data backup, recovery, and archiving solutions for SMEs and consumers” to protect “valuable website data, business servers, emails, and mobile data”. Dropmysite provides scheduled automatic backups and monitors website performance. It also recovers data when accidentally lost or corrupted. As a result of the partnership Crazy Domains will be able to provide its 1.5 million customers with backup options.

“The partnership between Crazy Domains and Dropsuite is just another step in our aim to deliver disruptive, much-needed cloud based services to small and medium-sized customers throughout the EMEA region – making it easier for people to succeed online,” explained Gavin Gibson, the COO of Crazy Domains.
