ICANN-accredited domain registrar Namecheap, Inc.
(Namecheap) has announced the launch of new tools designed for ‘online creators’. Namecheap, which has headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona, United States, was established in 2001. The company prides itself on offering customers everything they need “to make more online, for less”. Alongside domain name and related services, it offers web hosting, SSL certificates, site building tools, and develops online business apps. Its latest tools come under the name ‘Visual’.
Visual helps “any level of entrepreneur bring their brand to life”. The suite offers users a “quality website, free, fully-customizable logo, and professional-grade business cards”. Although currently in beta, the suite is generally available and comprised of three components – a site maker, a logo maker, and a card maker. The site maker allows anyone to “make a website in minutes” without coding or design capabilities using a “step-by-step process” with “essential design elements”. Users signed up for annual plans receive a free domain name with a ‘.contact’, ‘.design’, or ‘.xyz’ suffix.
The logo maker creates brilliant logos “in seven simple steps” using software that generates logos based on specific choices users make. The logos produced by the system can immediately be imported into a website designed by the site maker. Likewise, with the card maker, which produces cards that are “shipped for free to more than 50 countries”. Items in the pipeline include a new font maker and meme maker.
To celebrate the launch, Namecheap is offering a special 15-day sale ending March 31, 2021, which means cost savings on related services – up to 92% off domains, 66% off web hosting, 99% off EasyWP Managed WordPress Hosting, and 65% off web security products (including VPNs and SSL certificates).
