The company has partnered with 4offsets.com (http://www.4offsets.com) who will provide the “first 10,000” new domain name registrants with free carbon offset shared web hosting for one year. The promotion started on Earth Day (April 22, 2008) and runs until December 31, 2008.
According to the company, the promotion is its first ever promotional campaign “intended to build brand awareness among webmasters and environmentally concerned individuals who are seeking to register a domain”.
