Superb Internet Corporation, whose services include web hosting and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), has announced that Duane Albro is joining the company as its new CEO. Mr. Albro will oversee Superb Internet’s cloud hosting, network and data center services functions.
Superb Internet Corporation has corporate offices in Honolulu, Hawaii and premises in Springfield and McLean, Virginia, and Seattle, Washington. The company provides PCAOB (SSAE-16) compliant services alongside Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) offerings through its partnership with data center and IP backbone provider, HopOne Internet Corporation. The news of Mr. Albro’s joining the company is set against a backdrop of the company’s increased market success and gaining more clients.
Mr. Albro’s expertise lies in transformational growth and he was recently CEO of a New York Stock Exchange-listed telephone company which he led to become the United States’ ninth largest cloud communications organization. He has worked at CEO and COO levels for a number of organizations, including a cable TV provider, a telecommunications service provider, and a “Fortune 10” telecommunications organization.
Mr. Albro has provided consulting in a range of industries including investment banks and private equity companies. He was formerly a New York Medical College board member and sat on the boards of New York Institute of Technology, Empire State College, Purchase College, and the National Purple Heart Hall of Honor. He gained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at the State University of New York, and an MBA from New York Institute of Technology.
