The Datacenter Group’ (TDCG) has acquired the “data center infrastructure” of Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) provider NovoServe. TDCG, which has headquarters in Amsterdam, Netherlands, was established in 2007. The company offers “reliable, safe, efficient, and green” data center services through AMS-IX, ISO9001, ISO27001, ISO14001, PCI DDS, and NEN 7510 certified carrier-neutral TIER 3 facilities in Amsterdam, Delft, Rotterdam, and Utrecht. The company boasts a network of redundant fiber-optic connections alongside services that offer 100% uptime. TDCG has acquired NovoServe’s facilities in Doetinchem and Enschede.
NovoServe has headquarters in Doetinchem, Gelderland, Netherlands. Established in 2015 it also provides Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) hosting options alongside dedicated servers, Virtual Private Servers, data center services, and reseller hosting. The company’s data centers are located in the east of the Netherlands and in Frankfurt, Germany. Each facility boasts a history of 100% uptime and the three centers are interconnected “through NovoServe’s cross-border network backbone in the Netherlands and Germany”. The acquisition offers TDCG the opportunity to extend its footprint in the region, while NovoServe can focus on its IaaS hosting services.
“Although we have a lot of experience in the field, it’s not our core business,” explained NovoServe’s CEO and co-founder, Herke Plantenga. “With TDCG on board as specialist in the area of data center services, we can focus on our core activity: providing IaaS hosting services to a global customer base. In addition, this collaboration guarantees the scalability of our data center infrastructure.”
