Employee communications platform provider
APPrise Mobile has chosen Amazon Web Services (AWS) to facilitate international hosting for the company. APPrise Mobile, which has headquarters in New York, United States, offers ‘theEMPLOYEEapp’ - a “native app platform for employee communications that allows any organization to have its own app on Apple’s App Store and the Google Play”. theEMPLOYEEapp pulls together data from employee databases to enable companies to send messages and content (documents, multi-media, etc.) to employees via mobile devices. APPrise Mobile’s move towards AWS is designed to address the international demand for its app.
AWS is part of the Amazon Group of companies and has global headquarters in Seattle, Washington, United States. It leads the cloud market with products and services such as compute, storage, databases, analytics, networking, mobile, developer tools, management tools, the Internet of Things (IoT), security and other enterprise options. APPrise Mobile is available through “all Amazon Web Services (AWS) facilities around the world”, meaning companies worldwide can benefit from a version of theEMPLOYEEapp that carries their own brand.
"As more companies move their workplace tools and systems to the cloud, it is not surprising that they are now looking for a comprehensive way to not only communicate instantaneously and simultaneously with their employees, but also to organize content so that it is easy accessible through the small screens of the mobile device,” explained APPrise Mobile’s CEO, Jeff Corbin. “This is a global opportunity and over the past year, companies from countries including Australia, Germany, the United Kingdom and more have sought out theEMPLOYEEapp as an easy to deploy and cost effective way to accomplish this. Our most recent developments ensure that we can support the data storage and security needs of any company, from any country as well as their respective language requirements."
