TeraGo Networks has announced a new cloud facility in Canada. The company, which has headquarters in Thornhill, Ontario, Canada, offers a range of services including enterprise infrastructure cloud services, data center services and network, and voice services. Each service is offered through the company's subsidiaries TeraGo Networks Inc. and Rackforce Networks Inc.
TeraGo caters to 4,200 business customers across Canada through 5 centers located in the Greater Toronto Area, the Greater Vancouver Area and Kelowna. Its new Tier 3 data center is in Mississauga, Ontario. The company's new facility is its third cloud facility in Canada. With three centers in the country its Canadian customers can easily benefit from its enterprise hybrid cloud-based compute, storage, security, backup and disaster recovery services.
Depending on the workload, each service is available at a company's primary or secondary host location. TeraGo customers can also choose to collocate data in one of TeraGo's data centers as a hybrid option. Given the restrictions placed on data in Canada, the company's customers also benefit from the knowledge that their data is stored within Canada's borders.
