Enterprise cloud platform provider
CTERA Networks (CTERA) has received a $30 million investment. CTERA has global headquarters in New York, United States and Petach Tikvah, Israel, as well as offices in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Singapore, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Established in 2008, the company provides a range of solutions that allow companies and service providers to establish cloud-based “managed storage, backup, file sharing and mobile collaboration services” using a single platform. The company has the backing of Cisco venture capital companies Benchmark Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, and Venrock. The investment is intended to enable the company to extend its reach in Asia with a particular focus on Southeast Asia and Singapore.
CTERA’s platform utilizes a hybrid architecture that brings together “cloud storage gateways, managed end-point agents and a cloud service delivery platform”. Its solutions meet the needs of businesses by guaranteeing end-to-end security and optimizing performance. Its latest investment round was spearheaded by Israel-based capital venture capital company Red Dot Capital Partners. Alongside growth in Asia the funding will enable CTERA to continue its patented file services technology development.
