Enterprise Communications Platform-as-a-Service (CPaaS) provider
SignalWire has announced the launch of a new cloud platform. SignalWire, which has headquarters in Palo Alto, California, United States, was established in 2017. The company “delivers advanced FreeSWITCH-as-a-Service through an elastic-cloud framework and developer-friendly APIs”. Alongside CPaaS options, its specializes in a broad range of areas including VOIP, Conferencing, WebRTC, API, SMS, and MMS. Its new platform is designed to “empower all developers to build advanced communications capabilities.”
The SignalWire CLOUD advanced communications solution offers an elastic cloud platform that facilitates rapid application development. Its technology is trusted by developers globally as it simplifies development procedures and reduces costs. It is available to developers who “do not have specific communications expertise” and offers a range of cost-effective APIs that utilize WebSocket protocols to give developers “all skill sets to create advanced communications capabilities with”.
“We built a community of expert communications developers, and empowered many companies like Netflix, Comcast, Cisco, and Amazon, leading to billions of dollars in business using our technology as the backbone of some of their most critical service applications,” suggested SignalWire CEO Anthony Minessale. “The power inherent in our technology, and the ability to innovate on top of it, made businesses possible,” added the company’s co-founder and CTO, Evan McGee. “What we’re doing now, is making that accessible to anybody.”
