November 23, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – European web hosting provider STRATO (http://www.strato.com) has added online backup tools that will provide the company’s customers with “an easy and complete solution for instant and continuous data backup of their PC hard drive and web space content,” the company announced recently.
STRATO’s ‘BackupManager’ solution provides “permanently secure” online backup of PC data without the need for extra hardware while ‘BackupControl’ automatically takes regular background copies of the customers' web space. Ten different copies of data backups can be made. Both solutions are available to all STRATO web hosting customers and the larger a customer’s web hosting package, the more storage space they have.
"However often people are reminded about backing up, many people fail to acknowledge the risk until it is too late. Both products back up a user's content automatically, based upon the customers chosen schedule,” explained Damian Schmidt, CEO of STRATO. “As a result, BackupManager and BackupControl not only offer users a complete end to end package, but also successfully address the risk factor encountered by users who forget to back up their data."
