It prides itself on “supplying hosting services that are truly beyond imagination” and offers a range of services including reseller, multiple IP, dedicated and Virtual Private Server (VPS) hosting. AHosting caters to a large number of video makers with “premium FFmpeg hosting” services. Its opposition to freebooting is that the activity represents an infringement of the intellectual property rights of video creators.
Freebooting involves downloading popular videos and uploading them on social media and video sharing sites. Those involved in this activity benefit from the revenue the content generates, robbing the bone fide creators of the fruits of their labor. This, AHosting believes, is “no different to other forms of copyright infringement and plagiarism” and its “harmful to the entire creative ecosystem”. AHosting’s accounts offer a range of options that facilitate “complete, unambiguous control and ownership over all content uploaded to the platform”.
