CWahi, the free hosting provider, passed the 5000 member milestone on Nov 25, 2008. Growth continues to accelerate as the service responds and adapts to its customers needs. Forum activity has increased as the staff of CWahi address questions and issues faced by their members, trying to make their experience as positive as possible. Feedback provided by the members continues to be the driving force of change so that CWahi always continues to provide the services that are desired.
CWahi is a division of Crosswinds.net, a web host that was established in 1997, and was one of the original free hosting providers. The downturn of the internet economy (the dot-Com Crash) necessitated the launch of paid web hosting and the termination of the free service in 2003.
Crosswinds has been in operation for over a decade, offering a full complement of paid hosting services. Since 2003, the Crosswinds team had the desire to offer free web space to clients once again. With CWahi, this has become a reality.
