Fund Manager IPI Data Center Partners Acquires Facilities from Data Center Company Infomart
Fund manager IPI Data Center Partners Management, LLC (IPI Data Center Partners) has acquired three facilities from data center company Infomart. Infomart, which was established in 2006, is an “award-winning industry leader in building, owning and operating highly efficient, cost-effective wholesale data centers”. The company offers colocation and wholesale services in four key US markets - San Jose, California, Hillsboro, Oregon, Dallas, Texas and Ashburn, Virginia. By acquiring Infomart data centers IPI Data Center Partners has significantly enhanced its global footprint.

An ASB Real Estate Investments (ASB) company, IPI Data Center Partners is an SEC-registered investment adviser that makes real estate investments in data centers and “other technology and connectivity-related real assets”. The acquisition will see the company serve businesses in a range of industries. Combined, the acquisitions add 650,000 square feet to its data center capability. Financial aspects of the deal were not released.

“Since the company’s inception, Infomart has demonstrated its commitment to environmental responsibility in designing and building energy-efficient and sustainable data centers for performance-driven organizations,” explains a press release on the Infomart website. “ Infomart Data Centers offers highly connected wholesale and colocation facilities in Tier I markets throughout the United States”. ASB President and CEO Robert Bellinger added, “Our data center investments proved extremely timely and profitable for our fund clients.”
