Global Data Center Infrastructure Provider HostDime.com to Build New Data Center and Headquarters
Global data center infrastructure provider HostDime.com, Inc. (HostDime) is to build a new data center and headquarters in Orlando, Florida, United States. HostDime, whose current headquarters are also in Orlando, caters to companies of a range of sizes by offering hosting services which include cloud products such as managed hosting servers. The company also offers colocation services. HostDime held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new facilities last month.

Since it started operation in 2003, HostDime has played a major role in central Florida’s technology arena, employing 120 staff in the area. The new “campus style” facilities will have seven floors and be able to house 200 employees. Designed by Orlando-based Baker Barrios Architects, Inc., the facilities will feature rigorous security, private client cage space, “ultra-fast 10G internet access” alongside 300 gigabits of network connectivity, and be engineered to meet HIPPA, PCI, SOC 2, and FISMA standards. In an industry first, the facilities will offer “on-site executive suites” which include bathrooms, showers and full-sized beds for customers to utilize on overnight visits.

"We're delighted to see HostDime is expanding its world headquarters in Orange County and creating high value, high wage jobs in our region," explained Teresa Jacobs, the Mayor of Orange County when discussing the groundbreaking. "Thanks to our strong workforce, our expanding high-tech assets and robust, innovation-driven economy, Orange County provides the ideal location for their operations."
