Global IaaS Platform Provider Servers.com Announces Hong Kong Data Center
Global Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) platform provider Servers.com has announced the launch of a new Hong Kong data center. Servers.com, which has headquarters in Dallas, Texas, United States and offices in the Netherlands and Singapore, was established in 2013. The company offers an “automated data center infrastructure” that is designed to cater to the needs of small- to medium-size businesses (SMBs). The company operates ISO 27001-, ISO 9001-, and PCI DSS-certified data centers in Moscow, Dallas, Amsterdam, Luxembourg, Singapore, and now Hong Kong.

To establish its new data center in Hong Kong and expand its APAC footprint, Servers.com collaborated with “key regional players”. The data center is connected to China Unicom, PCCW Global and NTT networks and located at a China Unicom facility. It provides direct, low latency connection to mainland China and the company’s Amsterdam and Singapore centers. The center will offer dedicated servers and other key Servers.com products including “hybrid cloud-ready environments”.

"The opening of the Hong Kongdata center is a very important step to establishing our position in the Asian market,” explained the Chief Operating Officer of Servers.com, Nick Dvas. “We launched the Singapore data center in mid-2016 and, based on the success of that center, we are looking forward to continued growth in the Asian market. We are looking forward to providing collaborative customized solutions at cost-competitive rates to the Chinese market”.
