NetActuate has announced the deployment of a data center in the United Kingdom. NetActuate, which has head offices in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States, was established in 2005. The company is a “client-focused provider” offering a range of services including cloud options and managed services alongside hybrid cloud, Anycast, colocation and connectivity services. It has a 2,100-strong customer base and ensures “their critical applications are available, high-performing, and secure 24/7”. NetActuate’s new data center is located in the UK capital, London.
NetActuate’s latest data center deployment improves service capacity and global network performance and its London location is designed to meet increasing demand for the company’s infrastructure and network services in the area. The ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001: 2013, OHSAS 18001, and PCI DSS-certified center is operated by Volta Data Centres and offers “multi-factor security, and fully redundant power and cooling”. It also offers two 33kV supplies with an incoming feed capacity of 9.6 MVA from two different grid substations and low-latency connectivity to the London Internet Exchange (LINX).
“To meet increasing demand for low latency network services and global infrastructure, we are excited to add a new location to our London presence,” explained NetActuate’s President, Mark Price. “This new location improves our ability to provide high performance, flexible, and reliable services to our customers.”
