Accenture has acquired ‘Oracle Platinum Partner’ DAZ Systems, Inc. (DAZ Systems). Accenture has been in business since 1989 and has headquarters in Dublin, Ireland. A globally recognized brand, the company offers consulting, digital, technology and operations solutions for companies in around 40 industries and in excess of 120 countries. Its acquisition of DAZ Systems is intended to enhance its Oracle cloud computing capabilities.
DAZ Systems, which has headquarters in El Segundo, California, United States, was established in 1995. The company is “the largest Oracle Partner in the US” and has managed “500 successful implementations”. DAZ specializes in helping companies become more effective through the delivery of Oracle ERP, HCM, EPM Cloud and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offerings. The financial aspects of Accenture’s acquisition have not been released, but it was announced that DAZ Systems’ customers and 300-strong team would be absorbed by Accenture’s ‘Oracle Business Group’.
“DAZ has extensive experience implementing Oracle Cloud solutions, which complements Accenture’s established credentials across the Oracle Cloud portfolio,” explained Accenture Technology Services’ Group Chief Executive Bhaskar Ghosh on the company’s website. “Organizations demand proven expertise, as well as new innovative solutions and methods to help them transform their businesses. DAZ will help us continue to deliver the very best thinking and capabilities to our clients.”
