The partnership will allow all GlobalSign OrganizationSSL, ExtendedSSL and Managed SSL customers to benefit from 30 days of free malware scanning through Armorize’s HackAlert service.
Hackers use and develop malicious software known as malware to compromise PCs and spread viruses, hijack computers or steal personal information by surreptitiously injecting malicious code into vulnerable websites, causing the infected websites to distribute malware to their website visitors.

As the service provides detection and alarms for "Zero Day" malware injected into websites and hidden through malvertisements, HackAlert has set a new standard in comprehensive website security, drive-by download defence, and protection against being flagged by Google as a malware-infected site.
