Go Daddy Acquires Cloud-Based Accounting Software Company Outright
July 19, 2012 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Domain name registrar Go Daddy has acquired cloud-based financial management application Outright which operates out of Mountain View, California.

Outright serve small businesses through the provision of simple, data-driven and community-enabled business management applications, and has a customer base of over 200,000 customers.

Commenting on the acquisition, Go Daddy CEO Warren Adelman highlighted the services provided by Outright and explained why the move was right for their customers; "This is a great fit for our customer base," he said.

"Outright.com has built easy-to-use software that streamlines the work involved with running a start-up or small business ... the taxes, income, profits, expenses and other financial data that can be an administrative distraction for business owners.

Outrights customers are also set to benefit from Go Daddy's services, following the venture, being able to access their cloud-based services and with their customer support.

CEO for the last year, Steven Aldrich, cited customer benefits as one of the reasons behind the deal saying, "We believe our customers benefit because of the range of Go Daddy products and services designed explicitly for small business owners."

The current Senior VP of Applications continued; "Joining Go Daddy feels like a move that was just meant to be. We are combining forces with a company that has built a billion dollar business with the simple idea of providing great products and a brand of service that delights customers."

Aldrich will be joining Go Daddy along with the other Outright colleagues including co-founder Ben Curren, but will remain based in Silicon Valley.

Curren who started the business in 2006 said; "We had a lot in common with Go Daddy from the start. We both prioritize customer support, value-rich technology and entrepreneurship."

"We are both committed to helping small businesses grow. We believe the small business financial management market is ripe for innovation because it has historically been under-served and over-priced."
