Leading domain name registrar GoDaddy.com announced its customers are now able to register, transfer or renew domain names for just $1.99 a year with the purchase of selected GoDaddy.com products (including web hosting, Secure SSL certificates and e-Commerce capable shopping carts) until September 30, 2005. The offer includes a number of free extras including Go Daddy's email product and a starter Web page. "We're excited to tell the Internet community that the best domain value on the 'Net just got better," said Bob Parsons, president and founder of Go Daddy. "Since Go Daddy started back in 1999, one of our goals has been to increase the Internet's accessibility for everyone," Parsons added. "With hosting plans starting at $3.95 a month, Web site builders at just $2.95 a month, and now domains from just $1.99 a year, we're achieving that goal, and making it possible for anyone and everyone to acquire and create their own personal space on the Internet."
