GoDaddy has added Betsy Rafael to its Board of Directors. Ms. Rafael is an industry veteran with 30 years experience and was formerly Apple’s Chief Accounting Officer. Other positions she has held include Cisco Systems’ Finance VP and positions at Ernst & Young, Sun, SGI, Escalate and Aspect Communications.
Ms. Rafael is the first female GoDaddy board member. She also sits of the audit committees of Echelon and Autodesk, and on Echelon’s compensation committee. She is also a member of Santa Clara University’s Board of Trustees.

GoDaddy has 12 million customers and manages 57 million domain names. The company is currently involved in a program of international expansion and has hired executive leaders across the globe. The company also opened a facility in India and new offices in Sunnyvale, California and near Seattle, Washington.
