GoDaddy.com Upgrades Web Hosting Plans

November 3, 2005
November 3, 2005 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – GoDaddy.com announced yesterday it is providing upgrades to its hosting plans. The upgrades include an increase in disk space, bandwidth, and number of email accounts, as well as an increase in the number of MySQL databases. The move comes alongside a reduction in Go Daddy’s domain registration prices, currently brought down to $6.95 a year.

"Customers won't find a better hosting price, product or service on the
Internet, period," said Go Daddy President and Founder Bob Parsons. "We continue to design, implement and staff our hosting systems with two objectives in mind: to make hosting affordable and to keep each customer's site live, without any downtime, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week."

Recognized as North America’s largest shared hosting provider, Go Daddy is offering three upgraded plans, Economy Hosting, Deluxe Hosting and Premium Hosting. Examples of the upgrades to the packages include Economy Hosting disk space availability increasing from 500 MB to 5,000 MB, Deluxe Hosting Bandwidth increasing from 100 GB to 500 GB, and the number of email accounts available through Premium Hosting increasing from 1,000 to 2,000. "Our hosting upgrades, paired with our $6.95 domain names, make it possible for almost anyone to create a presence for themselves on the Internet," added Parsons.
