This year’s
Google Cloud Summit will take place in Tel Aviv, Israel on May 30, 2018. The event will bring together “executives, customers, partners, developers, IT decision makers and Google engineers” to discuss a range of issues related to the Google Cloud Platform. It takes place at Tel Aviv Convention Center, Pavilion 2 and registration is available right now.
The Google Cloud Summit is an “immersive event” that offers around 28 sessions where participants can consider new ideas as proposed by industry experts. Under the tagline “Meet us in Tel Aviv and see where the cloud takes you”, the summit will offer a wide range of content to meet participants’ needs. Areas covered include how to modernize infrastructure and create intelligence from data. In addition, the event will consider how to accelerate application development and transform teamwork.
Google’s expert partners will be on hand to share their insights in areas such as machine learning and processing volumes of data to “build smarter products, drive productivity, and reduce costs”. A number of ‘demo zones’ will also highlight the latest cloud technology solutions. There will also be networking opportunities. Speakers include Sam Ramji, VP Product Management for Google Cloud Platform, Umesh Shankar, Principal Engineer, Google Cloud and Miles Ward, Director, Solutions - Google Cloud. Talks will cover areas as diverse as security and kubernetes, databases, CI/CD pipelines in the cloud, and cloud networking importance for application performance.
