Health industry software provider Egton has chosen cloud services company UKCloud Ltd. (
UKCloud) to manage its software services. Egton, an EMIS Group company, has global headquarters in Leeds, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom. The company provides software, hardware and other services with a focus on health administration. It also provides websites for doctors’ practices in the UK. Egton has migrated its services to UKCloud’s ‘Cloud Native Infrastructure’, which is based on the Red Hat OpenStack Platform.
UKCloud, which has headquarters in Farnborough, Hampshire, United Kingdom, was established in 2012. The company offers a “true public cloud” to organizations in the UK’s ‘Public Sector’. Its cloud services offer levels of value and capability that “ultimately benefits the UK taxpayer, citizens and businesses”. The Cloud Native Infrastructure will enable Egton to “innovate and continually enhance the services”. The solution offers business continuity solutions including the Intradoc247 practice management software, and compliance software such as ‘TheOneView’. The platform also ensures users meet compliance and assurance requirements.
