The company aims to reduce IT costs through the transition.
Cobweb will cater for over 500 mailboxes through its Hosted Microsoft Exchange service, which takes over from the company’s previous on-premise solution, and allows Belvoir Lettings to focus on core competencies. Microsoft Exchange allows users to share access to email, diaries and address books and connects with mobile devices and telephones such as BlackBerrys and iPhones. Cobweb’s service includes anti-virus and anti-spam filters which “protect franchise offices from malicious and irritating spam emails”. The company is also hosting Belvoir Lettings’ corporate website to ensure its online presence.
