CenturyLink) is helping organizations in Asia Pacific (APAC) guard against cyber risks. CenturyLink, which recently partnered with cyber protection company ThreatConnect, has headquarters in Monroe, Louisiana, United States. The company’s services range from hosting to cloud and IT offerings. It also provides ‘Big Data’ analytics, IT consulting, and global communications options. CenturyLink’s ‘Managed Security Services 2.0’ option “empowers organizations to be more proactive in how they protect against, detect and respond to threats” and is now available in the APAC region.
CenturyLink’s move underscores its commitment to expanding its cybersecurity portfolio and is a response to the increasing sophistication of cyber attacks. The “newly enhanced” service is underpinned by the company’s managed security platform and allows users to use “advanced threat detection and incident response capabilities” to monitor their IT. Managed Security Services 2.0 is available in a range of deployment options and provides a “predictable operating expense model” that helps organizations avoid spikes in costs. It offers security log monitoring and threat analysis and provides broad threat intelligence from around 50 intelligence feeds. It also offers incident management and reporting via the ‘MSS portal’ which offers customers a customizable dashboard for tracking security issues and incidents.
