July 23, 2006
July 23, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – HostingCon 2006 this week saw the launch of a new release of WebsiteCreator, a website development solution developed by CM4all (http://www.cm4all.com) - provider of web-based applications for the Internet. According to the company the new version of their technology is a response to “growing consumer demand and the anticipation of a future mass market”.

The new version of the solution is a “Consumer Edition” offering advance features including multi-author blogs, community photo albums, and an event planner within a “professionally designed web site”. Service providers utilizing the solution are able to “rebrand” it to maintain and retain brand identity. The new version of WebsiteCreator offers enhanced “Web 2.0” capabilities and new features that include pre-configured pages displaying events to choose from (e.g., weddings, vacations, parties, etc) and a range of templates.

"The CM4all WebsiteCreator Consumer Edition will fit perfectly into the services portfolio of any MSO, ISP, or telco and represents a simple avenue for generating additional revenue and increasing customer retention. We have already received a lot of positive feedback from potential clients outside of our traditional channels that want to tap into new customer groups," said Robert Schovenberg, CEO of CM4all. "By integrating Web 2.0 functionality such as drag-and-drop, live editing within the Web site, and multi-author blogging, we are sure that this consumer-oriented edition will appeal to a vast number of Internet users."
