Previously, those wishing to become HostSearch.com Support Members paid a $49 annual fee and prepaid at least $50 to their member accounts to be used against advertising fees. To simplify the procedure HostSearch waived the annual membership fee and initiated a scheme where simply prepaying $50 into a HostSearch account activated Support Membership status. To make it even easier to become a Support Member, HostSearch.com has now announced that accounts can be activated by depositing just $25 into an account. As before, this amount can be used against HostSearch.com’s advertising options, particularly its pay-per-click Bidding System.
“We want as many people as possible to benefit from HostSearch.com so making Support Membership as easy as possible was a priority for us and one of our first initiatives in 2007,” explained HostSearch.com’s CEO, Mr. Charnchon Lavitrangsima. “The $25 used to activate an account can be used to benefit from our advertising options.”
HostSearch.com’s Support Members receive advanced advertising options that complement the more traditional advertising options available through the site. With a searchable database, web hosts’ details appear in visitors’ search results and Support Members are able to make bids to improve their search result ranking. This offers companies greater exposure amongst a group interested in purchasing web hosting. Other options include the “Host Quote” program where HostSearch visitors submit enquiries directly to participating hosts who reply with the products and services that meet their requirements.
