Hybrid Solutions Provider Atmosera Announces Launch of Azure Backup Service
Atmosera, a provider of fully managed Azure hybrid solutions, has announced the launch of a new backup service. Atmosera, which has headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon, United States, specializes in managed solutions that “combine private and public Microsoft Azure clouds, hosted environments, colocation, and advanced services” such as security and compliance. The company’s new service leverages Microsoft Azure and enables customers to back up data to the public cloud.

Atmosera’s new service is a hybrid cloud solution that merges on-premise and hosted environments. The service aims to enhance backup quality and availability while offering customers cost savings. Leveraging Azure, the backup solution benefits customers by offering a reliable backup service that can easily restore data when issues occur. With the price of the Atmosera’s cloud storage option, companies need not prioritize data backups but can instead backup all of their data.

The solution also allows backups to be made “anywhere in the world” meaning they can be closer to a company’s offices. Atmosera also offers ongoing system monitoring to establish the “health and status of each customer’s backups”. Its support teams “take proactive actions” should issues occur. In addition, backups meet industry standards and are HIPAA/HITECH and PCI DSS compliant.

“Our customers count on us to ensure they have a well-thought-out backup strategy to protect the data they rely on to run their business,” explained the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Atmosera, Jon Thomsen. “Microsoft Azure offers compelling options for our customers including 30 regions worldwide, more than every major cloud provider combined. Our team’s deep expertise and proven best practices guarantees we architect a public cloud backup solution which delivers the right flexibility, performance and price point for each customer.”
