Webhosting.net have partnered on cloud data replication services that will allow Nimble Storage's customers to copy data to the cloud.
Nimble Storage provides flash-optimized hybrid storage arrays. The company's patented Cache Accelerated Sequential Layout combines flash with high-capacity drives and enhances disaster recovery and backup. Miami, Florida-based Webhosting.net was founded in 1998 and has facilities in Canada, Amsterdam and South Africa. The company specializes in virtual infrastructure solutions that utilize hypervisor systems. The company's services include cloud solutions and platforms, and disaster recovery solutions alongside Hosted Exchange, VDI and File Storage services.
Webhosting.net's options include a hybrid cloud solution for disaster recovery. Through Nimble Storage's options, Webhosting.net can replicate data to Nimble Storage arrays in a secure cloud via accelerated VPN Tunnels. The system transfers compressed, block-level changes to reduce bandwidth requirements. Webhosting.net's proprietary WAN acceleration tools reduce the amount of bandwidth required to replicate large amounts of data to the cloud.
