IaaS and DRaaS Solutions Provider Green Cloud Acquires IaaS and SaaS Provider ANS Corporation
Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS) solutions provider Green Cloud Technologies (Green Cloud) has acquired IaaS and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider ANS Corporation.

Established by NuVox Communications’ veterans, Green Cloud has headquarters in Greenville, South Carolina, United States. The company bills itself as a “Cisco powered channel-only cloud solutions provider dedicated to providing value-added resellers, managed service providers, and technology providers with turnkey infrastructure solutions”. Its products extend to “infrastructure, virtual desktops, disaster recovery and backup solutions”. Green Cloud’s acquisition of ANS Corporation extends its product portfolio and US footprint.

ANS Corporation, which has headquarters in Akron, Ohio, United States, is a cloud hosting services wholesaler which focuses on “medical, professional and MSP communities” across the US. The company provides line-of-business and medical/financial applications hosting alongside private cloud offerings and backup and disaster recovery solutions. Its partners include Microsoft, Cisco, Citrix, VMWare, and HP. Green Cloud’s acquisition of the company was finalized October 31, 2015 with ANS Corporation’s Board of Directors agreeing to the purchase.

“ANS has done an excellent job of delivering public and private clouds to businesses for many years,” explained Green Cloud’s CEO, Shay Houser. “With this acquisition, Green Cloud can now offer the additional solutions, data center locations, and healthcare SaaS expertise our partners want.”
