IaaS Provider 3W Infra Announces Launch of Dedicated Server Plans Aimed at Cloud Customers
Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) provider 3W Infra has announced the launch of dedicated server plans that target cloud customers. 3W Infra, which was established in 2014, has headquarters in Amsterdam, Netherlands. A “pure-play” IaaS provider, the company manages around 3,000 dedicated servers and its services extend to bespoke “enterprise-grade hosting solutions” designed to fit the exact requirements of its customers. These services include dedicated servers, colocation, and IP Transit options. 3W Infra’s latest offering is underpinned by Dell PowerEdge R430 servers.

The new customizable dedicated server plans target cloud customers with “architectures for low latency and high throughput requirements”. Dell PowerEdge R430 servers deliver peak 2-socket performance to provide enough power to cater to cloud environments that manage High-performance Computing (HPC) workloads such as gaming, Forex trading, and big data and thus require generous resources. The new servers are located in 3W Infra’s ISO 27001-certified Tier 4 data center in Amsterdam.

“Playing Minecraft, League of Legends or World of Warcraft online can be an awesome experience, but only when the underlying hosting infrastructure meets the player’s gaming expectations,” explained 3W Infra’s Commercial Director, Roy Premchand. “The same accounts for I/O or CPU intensive tasks such as data analytics, as well as high-frequency trading where the underlying hosting infrastructure is decisive for a successful outcome. Dell R430 servers offer excellent performance, yet cost-effective while able to scale in case of evolving business needs.”
