Icelandic IT service provider
Nyherji and data center company Verne Global have formed a partnership. An ISO 27001-certified organization offering ITIL-based processes, Nýherji was established in 1992. Employing around 600 people the company has headquarters in Reykjavík, Iceland. It offers a range of services including consultancy, hardware/software provision and technical services and has partnerships with a number of companies including IBM, Lenovo, Canon, and Lexmark. Nyherji has embarked on a “strategic data center and hosting partnership with Verne Global” which will allow it to strengthen its domestic and international services.
Verne Global, whose headquarters are in the United Kingdom, “owns and operates a 44-acre data center campus in Keflavik, Iceland”. The company offers carbon neutral power solutions utilizing affordable 100% carbon neutral power sources that offer “unparalleled pricing predictability”. Verne Global’s agreement with Nyherji sees the companies cooperate on providing a “carbon neutral end-to-end solution for managed services and data storage in Iceland”.
