Impervio Technologies Inc. (Impervio) has launched a new secure cloud storage and file sharing service. The company, which has headquarters in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, suggests that its new “
FileSafe” solution offers “impenetrable file protection” and described its launch as “a monumental step forward in the war on cyber-terrorism”.
FileSafe is designed for companies and individuals and allows everyone to protect files with a military-grade solution. It will sit alongside Impervio’s other solution’s, which include Pond Computing and Virus Sandboxing solutions, Server Compliance offerings, Digital Rights Management and Information Rights Management services, and the company’s Impervio E-IRM right’s management tool.
FileSafe is designed with thwarting hackers in mind and addresses the sophisticated methods hackers employ to access data these days. According to Impervio’s CTO and Founder Dale Scott Marion, FileSafe is “so secure it would take hackers 100 lifetimes to get through the protection on just one file."
According to Impervio, the FileSafe solution has been verified “by a team of elite cyber security specialists” led by University of Maine’s Head of Cyber Security Division, Charles Largay. While the solution has only just been released to the public, it has already received “excellent reviews”.
