Cognizant has acquired cloud strategy company KBACE Technologies Inc (KBACE Technologies). Cognizant, whose headquarters are in Teaneck, New Jersey, United States, has a global presence and caters to a range of industries (including Banking and Financial Services, Communications, Consumer Goods and Travel and Hospitality companies) with products and services that enable its customers to accelerate cloud migration and improve business agility. The company’s purchase of KBACE Technologies will strengthen its Oracle cloud services capability. The financial aspects of the deal were not released.
KBACE Technologies, which has headquarters Nashua, New Hampshire, United States, provides consulting and technology services on a global basis. The company bills itself as “dedicated to helping customers maximize their investment in Oracle Software by delivering unmatched services, solutions, and products”. The bulk of KBACE’s workforce is based in Bengaluru, India, but 400 of its consultants and implementation experts will be absorbed by Cognizant. The acquisition enables Cognizant to be more able to cater for customers migrating critical business applications to the cloud.
