DP Solutions has acquired managed IT solutions provider Choice Technologies, Inc. (Choice Technologies). DP Solutions, which has headquarters in Columbia, Maryland, United States, was established in 1971 and offers a range of services including managed hosting and managed backup/disaster recovery solutions. The company prides itself on applying industry best practices to addressing its customers’ IT requirements. The acquisition will mean its customers benefit from a combined 65 years of industry experience between the two organizations.
Choice Technologies, which was established in 1995, has headquarters in Maryland, United States. The company is one of the US mid-Atlantic area’s key managed service providers. It specializes in security and compliance solutions and also offers consulting services. DP Solutions’ acquisition of the company is a “strategic step” that enhances its “core strengths” and underscores the company’s expansion plans. Together the two companies will have sixty employees across the US and carer to “hundreds of businesses across the nation”.
