Integrated cloud solutions provider Fusion
has a won a contract with a leading private university on the East Coast of the United States. Fusion has corporate headquarters in New York, United States, and a presence across the country including operations in Wayne, New Jersey, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Atlanta, Georgia, Cleveland, Ohio and Herndon, Virginia. The company has been contracted to provide the university with specialized cloud solutions for the higher education market over a three-year period at cost of $325,000.
After a review of a number of cloud-based and on premise solutions, Fusion, which is listed on the NASDAQ, was chosen to be the university’s sole provider of integrated cloud solutions on a “one contract, one contact and one invoice” basis. Fusion’s selection was based on its ability to provide “cost-effective cloud voice, contact center, connectivity and business continuity solutions”. The advantages to the university of cloud-based solutions include the elimination of hardware costs and the elimination of concerns regarding investment in technology becoming obsolete. There is also a significant reduction in IT support staff costs.
"We appreciate the opportunity to support the university with our award-winning communications solution, including collaboration and contact center functionality, as well as connectivity over our robust, diverse national network, with automatic failover ensuring continuity of service," explained the President of Business Services at Fusion, Mr. Russell Markman. "The university is committed to continuous innovation and leveraging emerging technologies in support of its mission to prepare generations of students for a future as change agents. That is why as a technology company, we are especially pleased to have earned this respected institution's business."Do you know of any other providers winning contracts? Let us know the details.
