Integrated cloud solutions provider
Fusion has won a major managed cloud services contract. Fusion, which has corporate headquarters in New York, United States, offers a range of cloud solutions to businesses of a range of sizes. The company’s services extend to cloud computing, storage and security and it has signed a signed a three year contract (worth $100,000) to provide services to a “with a resource optimization and business process software company in the metropolitan Washington, D.C. area”.
Fusion’s three year deal was gained through the Apptix cloud services subsidiary it acquired last year. The deal will see Fusion offer “fully integrated cloud computing solutions” for the unnamed software company’s servers, network and workstations. Fusion was chosen for the project based on its proven success record delivering scalable Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) solutions. The move will relieve the software company of costs related to managing and maintaining an IT environment and allow it to focus on core competencies.
