Cloudreach has acquired Amazon Web Services (AWS) consulting partner Relus Cloud. Cloudreach, which has headquarters in London, United Kingdom, was established in 2009. A Cloudreach Holdings Limited subsidiary, the company provides a range of services that support public clouds such as AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Its acquisition of Relus Cloud is intended to boost its machine learning and data analytics services.
Owned by New York-based private equity, asset management and financial services company Blackstone, Relus Cloud has headquarters in Peachtree Corners, Georgia, United States. The company was established in 2013 and is an AWS Premier Consulting Partner. It manages cloud migrations and offers services that include ‘Big Data’ solutions, enterprise cloud solutions, managed services and data and analytics, alongside staffing and training services. Cloudreach’s acquisition is one of a number of recent acquisitions by the company. Financial aspects of the deal were not released.
“Cloudreach and Relus Cloud share a similar culture and a strong sense of purpose,” Cloudreach, CEO Aaron Painter told CNBC. “Together, we have a significant community of cloud-native talent, proven solutions, and industry experience across North America and Europe. Cloudreach is now even better positioned to enable any organization to become a digital leader”.
