TOAST.net is now a SmarterTools Inc. (SmarterTools) partner. TOAST.net, which has head offices in Toledo, Ohio, United States, was established in 1996. Alongside web hosting it offers ISP services, hosted email and other managed services. The company has signed an authorized lease-reseller agreement with SmarterTools and will now distribute its SmarterMail software to offer cloud-based email services.
SmarterTools, which has headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona, United States, was established in 2003. The company builds applications that enable companies to “communicate, measure, and support their worldwide business operations”. Its solutions reach around 15 million end users in around 100 countries. SmarterMail software enables TOAST.net to “provide enterprise-level functionality at a price that's more affordable than similar services such as Office365” and its has now moved “thousands of mailboxes to SmarterMail”.
SmarterMail offers a range of collaboration and communication features including email archiving, file storage, antivirus and antispam protection and detailed reports. It also offers add-ons to synchronize mail, contacts, calendars and notes “across all devices”.
"We've found that many small to medium businesses want to move to the cloud, but are scared away by mailboxes costing $6 to $12 a month.," explained TOAST.net’s President, Kevin David. "Our Email for Business starts at $3/mailbox and goes lower with volume."
